Celebration at Children's Creativity Center
Republic Day was celebrated with great pride and patriotic spirit on 26 January 2026 at the Childrens Creativity Center, an initiative of Global Concerns India. The program commemorated the historic day when the Constitution of India came into force, marking India's transformation into a sovereign republic on 26 January 1950.
- The celebration began with the hosting of the National Flag by our esteemed Chief Guest, followed by the soulful rendition of the National Anthem, filling the atmosphere with unity and respect for the nation.
- The event beautifully highlighted the values enshrined in our Constitution — justice, equality, liberty, and responsibility.
- Students actively participated in the program, making it both educational and inspiring.
- Harrini explained the significance of Republic Day, emphasizing how the Constitution granted India its own laws, rights, and the power to govern itself.
- Lia spoke about the core values of the Republic, reminding everyone that India believes in equality, rule of law, and respect for constitutional principles.
Points of Note
The program also featured a fancy dress narration by Abhi, who paid tribute to the great leaders behind the making of the Constitution, including Dr. B. R. Ambedkar, Mahatma Gandhi, Jawaharlal Nehru, Dr. Rajendra Prasad, the freedom fighters, and the members of the Constituent Assembly whose sacrifices shaped the nation.
Cultural performances added vibrancy to the event, including a group song “ನಾಡು ನಾಡು ನಾಡು ನಮ್ಮ ನಾಡು” and a group dance based on time availability. The program concluded with the patriotic song “ಜಯ ಭಾರತ ಜನನಿಯ ತನುಜಾತೆ”, followed by the distribution of sweets/food, spreading joy and togetherness.
The celebration instilled a deep sense of national pride and reminded everyone of their duty to uphold the values of the Constitution.
